The SIEM LED rectangular headlamp combines modern LED lighting technology with the classic optics of the V50 Special. It runs on the 12-volt AC vehicle electrical system and is supplied with a stable power supply via the AC/DC voltage converter supplied – for a bright, homogeneous light pattern with low power consumption.
Manufactured by SIEM in Italy, a long-standing OEM partner of Piaggio. The glass lens with DGM approval mark and the clean workmanship clearly stand out from simple replicas – ideal for high-quality restorations with contemporary light output.
The Vespa V50 Special has a 6-volt vehicle electrical system ex works. Conversion to 12 V is required for this LED headlight: 12 V ignition system with suitable regulator and adapted wiring harness. Only then can the headlight be used via the enclosed converter.
