I just want to keep our customers up to date with an issue i have, last week i damaged my shoulder and went to the doctors on monday and ive been told i have a trapped nerve in my elbow and my shoulder, which had made me lose full use of my right hand, so i am struggling now doing a lot of jobs i normally find easy, i am a behind with jobs has we have loads of work has it is so please bare with me i am doing what i can the best i can for now, hopefully this will correct its self very soon and i'll be back to full speed, if anyone who has work with us wishes to contact me please feel free. What's a Restoration or what's a rebuild, these days i see people say they restored a scooter, ive said it myself but these days there are so many quality parts that when building a scooter, a Vespa or Lambretta, you actually make them better than when they came out of the factory, electronic ignition, alloy cylinder's quality sports exhaust's that even look like a standard exhaust, halogen bulbs even are an improvement on what was fitted in the factory, below are images of a Lambretta we just finished for a customer, it was meant to be a restoration but looks better than when it came out of the factory, we used as many original parts has we could but also used as many improvement's as possible without moving away from the original look as we possibly could, BGM LED Rear light insert, Halogen headlight bulb, nylon lined cables, Electronic ignition with a mid weight flywheel and a 96w regulator for improved lighting, in the engine we have a RT195 kit which kept the 125 special gearbox, which is the same gears has a Italian GP 200 and changed the gearing to the same has a GP which is 18 x 47, we have though only used a 22mm carb so it should going on what ive done before ride like a standard scooter so nothing special there but it should be a lot more responsive than a standard engine ever was, combined with the sip clubman sport exhaust as well, anyway here are some picture of before and after and below are during the restoration or Rebuild, which ever way we all look at it :) ...
