Here are some engine Disasters that we have cured in the past!!! No doubt there will be more?? please note that none of the problem pictured on this page are from engine that we set up or built...!

2 nice Pistons here, the first one was a Mugello 185 piston which someone had set up with the wrong jetting and the 2nd one was a Vespa DR 180 piston,  we where just given the barrel and piston with this one and asked to rebore and fit an over sized piston so we dont know what the original set up was to cure the problem..
     
Disaster.. The 2 pictures below are of an engine that someone brought to me and asked if i could get it running nice because they had tried without success, on close inspection when the engine was stripped down i noticed a crack in the transfer port that was all the way through the block, and someone had even tried to repair it with what looked like some type of glue???? This crack must of been expanding so much when the engine was warm that it was taking more air than it needed, it even kept running when you put your hand over the carb.... Beware of Hidden problems like this when buying engines or even complete scooters..
